You can search for textbooks by searching course reserves in the library catalog.  From the library home page, click on the "Advanced Search" option under the catalog search box.

Next, click on the Library Catalog box and change your search to within the Reserves collection. You can search for your textbook by title, instructor, course name, author, etc.

To use a textbook that is on Course Reserve, provide staff at the Checkout or Reference Desk with the instructor's name and the title of the item.  You need your SUNY New Paltz ID card to check out any library materials, including items on Course Reserves.

All textbooks are available for library use only with a two-hour usage restriction.  The Textbook Collection is a donation program through the Sojourner Truth Library which provides access to recycled textbooks for campus sharing.
