According to Wikipedia, "SWOT analysis is a strategic planning method used to evaluate the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats involved in a project or in a business venture."

There is one business database that has SWOT analyses for publicly-traded companies:

The SWOT analyses are created by Datamonitor, a company that is a trusted name in business information.  Unfortunately, Datamonitor does not do a SWOT analysis in every one of the company profiles. If your company has a Datamonitor Company Profile but no SWOT analysis, then you might look at similar companies. For example, if your company is General Motors, and there is no SWOT analysis for that company, then you might look at the company profile for Ford Motor Company. This assumes that companies in the same industry might have similar strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats since much of this information is based upon industry trends.
