Only SUNY New Paltz students, staff and faculty may use the online databases from off-campus. Unfortunately, due to licensing restrictions by our database vendors, we are unable to provide access to non-active students and staff. If you are not currently enrolled in classes for the current semester, are auditing a class, or are not actively employed by SUNY New Paltz, you will be unable to access these resources from off-campus. Anyone who comes to the library can use our databases. However, on-site access to these resources can be obtained by requesting a temporary guest login account.
To access databases: On the library homepage, navigate to the database(s) you would like to access, just as you would if you were on-campus. The only difference is that when you click on the link to the desired database, you will be prompted to enter your Campus User ID and password. Enter your information, and you will have access to the database.
