There are a couple ways to search for plays in the Library Catalog. If you're interested in acting editions (just the text of the play without added essays or introductions) you can do a keyword or "all fields" search for "acting editions."
This will bring up a large grouping of plays, including many contemporary prizewinning works, that are shelved together in a single area of the library (PN2080.3 for plays, PN2080.4 for librettos). You can also just head down to this area of the stacks (on the ground floor) and browse what we have.
If you are searching for a specific play, plays by a specific playwright, or editions of a play that include supplementary essays, you can search the catalog by "Title begins with" or "Author (lastname, firstname).
