The Chronicle of Higher Education provides in-depth articles about current issues faced by universities & colleges, along with data and analysis on the latest higher education trends, statistics, and salaries. The website is updated daily; the latest print issue is added every Monday. The Library subscription provides unlimited access to all articles since 1989, as well as special issues such as The Almanac of Higher Education and The Trends Report. The Provost Office sponsors the subscription.
There are several ways to access the Chronicle of Higher Education:
-
Chronicle of Higher Education Library Subscription link: If you're off campus, this link takes you to the New Paltz library login page. You don't need to log in if you're on campus. When you get to the Chronicle page, you'll need to log in with your Chronicle.com account if you would like to access features like signing up for newsletters, etc.
-
Chronicle.com: You can create a Chronicle.com user account for subscription access, sign up for topical newsletters, read free reports, sign up for upcoming virtual events, or create job alerts. To create an account, select the Sign in button in the upper right corner of the page. Fill out the form using your New Paltz e-mail address.
Your Chronicle.com user account allows you to bypass the Library's link and log in to the website for full subscriber access.
